On behalf of the UK Space Agency, the Centre for Earth Observation Instrumentation has announced its Tenth EO Instrument Technology Call, with the primary aim to solicit new and innovative ideas for EO technology developments.

The CEOI will also consider proposals to develop higher TRL technologies through airborne demonstration or by the development of a payload for a CubeSat In-Orbit Demonstrator.

The primary selection criteria will be: strategic/commercial relevance, including positioning of UK
organisations in the global market; technological excellence; project management; and value for money.

The total budget available for the Call will be up to £2M, with additional PV funds required from
industrial bidders. The Call will be released on 3rd January 2017 when full details will be available, with
a closing date of 28th February 2017. It is anticipated that projects can start from March 2017
