On Wednesday 21 November 2012, the Satellite Applications Catapult will be holding a Briefing Day to provide an update on the proposed organisation moving forward, the Market Led Programmes it will be focusing on, and information on ways in which industry, SMEs, academia and public sector organisations can get involved.

There will also be the opportunity to meet the new Chair and Chief Executive Officer.

Since the initial external engagement workshops which took place in May and June this year, the Satellite Applications Catapult Delivery Team has been working with the Technology Strategy Board to develop the Catapult’s Business Plan and Strategy.

Initial Programmes, Pilot Projects and Facilities have also been identified along with the mechanisms for engaging others in Catapult activities.

The Briefing Day has been designed to communicate these developments and give interested parties the opportunity to find out how the Catapult can potentially benefit them.

The event commences at 10.00, and finishes around 15.30. The Wales Millennium Centre is easily accessible by train (a two-minute walk from the station), car (just off the M4) and air (Cardiff airport is 11 miles from the centre).

Numbers are limited to 120 delegates for this event, so early registration is advised. If you would like to attend, please click on the following link – Book A Place
