The CEOI-ST is holding a 1-day Challenge Workshop on “Airborne Demonstrator Opportunities” at the Astronomy Technology Centre at the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh, on 7th October 2015.

The meeting will explore current platforms and opportunities, and current users will share their experience of flying a variety of payloads and of the associated regulatory matters. We will examine how new users can access these opportunities. In the workshop session we will ask the delegates to consider:

* What airborne facilities are currently needed?

* Do current opportunities cover all needs?

* Could the UK instrumentation community benefit from a central brokering facility to enable access?

The workshop is open to all, and is aimed at instrumentation groups seeking to demonstrate their payloads on airborne platforms, prior to targeting a space mission. The full agenda is available here.

Poster presentations are most welcome and additional short presentations will be considered as time allows. The meeting is free, however please register with Vivienne Bon at the contact address below. Refreshments and lunch will be provided, but please let Vivienne know of any special dietary requirements, or for help with finding hotels.
