The Greek Presidency of the Council of the European Union is pleased to announce the organisation of the Copernicus – Sentinels Serving Society and the Environment conference on 12 and 13 May 2014 in Athens.
This conference will:
a) provide public administrations and businesses with practical examples of geospatial solutions in sectors such as the environment and risk management, energy, territorial planning and governance
b) provide the space community with insights into the current and future needs of end-users and downstream service providers so as to discuss what more can be done (in terms of policy, governance, technology etc.) to enable them to make the most of Copernicus
High level speakers from the Greek Government will be invited to open each thematic session.
