The Agenda:
Both sessions have a panel presentation, a Q&A session and include discussion on:

The Applications – Chris McLaughlin – Inmarsat, sponsors of the Round the World Race Yacht Race, will describe how satellite technology for positioning, communications, and weather forecasting, were crucial in running and support this demanding race. Ken Ashton – NATS, will demonstrate how space data is utilised to the benefit of the UK aviation industry through providing improved safety and reliability in navigational services.

The Opportunity – Georgina Watts – UK Trade & Investment, will discuss why the UK is a fantastic place to do business for the global space industry. Ian McMahon – Scottish Enterprise, will demonstrate how Scotland is a great example of the strength and diversity of the opportunities that exist across the entirety of the UK.

The Collaboration – Sergey Zhukov – Skolkovo, will provide a tangible example of the international opportunities that exist abroad in well established and emerging markets, such as Russia.

The Vision – Martin Ditter, on behalf of ESA will demonstrate how the UK plays an important role in realising Europe’s dream for international collaboration. Colin Hicks – Eurisy, will illustrate the increasing demand for operational satellite services by the non-space community, including SMEs and Local and Regional Authorities.
