LizardTech is releasing version 8.5 of its software development kit (SDK), adding support for per-band decoding. This means that decode and viewing performance is improved for multi- and hyperspectral imagery, with LizardTech’s partners and customers now having the ability to decode only the bands that they need.

LizardTech representatives are available in booth 227 of the ASPRS Annual Conference, held this week in Sacramento, USA, to answer any questions pertaining to the updated SDK. They will also be conducting demonstrations of GeoExpress software, which enables geospatial professionals to compress and manipulate satellite and aerial imagery, Express Server software for high-performance delivery and publication, and Lidar Compressor software, which turns giant point cloud datasets into efficient MrSID files.
