The UK Space Agency is seeking support to help deliver UK goals in securing downstream benefits from Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES). Work to establish a UK position on GMES is needed in the first part of 2012. Candidates are needed who would be available until July 2012. There is scope to extend this for a further period if needed.

It will also offer the chance to represent the Space Agency and UK government across a range of stakeholders including other government departments, international partners and industry. The role may be undertaken on a full or part-time basis.
Applicants interested in providing support are requested to send a CV and covering letter by 10th January to Ruth Boumphrey and Alice Bunn (Ruth.boumphrey@ukspaceagency.bis.gsi.gov.uk and Alice.bunn@ukspaceagency.bis.gsi.gov.uk).
